A music evening where Agnes Kofoed Christianson´s experimental compositions and its narrative in a new meeting of improvisations and arrangements in combination with Arabic music.
The compositional element goes through abstract microtonal recordings which interact with the musician’s human body and dramatic performance where melodic compositions, improvisation and Arabic songs give the frames.
The musical collaboration continues through improvisations and the musicians’ individual sound and different musical background from scenes in Scandinavia, NYC, Amsterdam, Egypt, Serbia.

Agnes Kofoed Christianson
Swedish composer, singer and performance artist who work within theatral experimental compositions and multidisciplinary performance.
Her interest for both the surrealist aesthetics and its belivies and ideas around art, humanity and the society have followed in her work as creator and artist.
She is investigating experimental arrangements, microtonal recordings and her own-made languages which she performs in different constellations of improvisational instrumentalists, chamber ensembles and in theatre performances. As a singer she is focused on Arabic music and works regularly with collaborations in Cairo, Egypt. Studied at Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.
She was rewarded with Young Swedish Composer 2021.

Jesper Nordberg
Experimental double bass player based in Malmö, SE and Copenhagen, DK, where he studied at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory, who works in the fields of free improvisations, contemporary music, balkan and integrating his characteristic interpretations through the genres.
With a big tone and characteristic feel for rhythmical changes and displacements, he has established himself as an individual voice at the jazz scenes of Copenhagen and Malmö. He takes a big interest in folk music from the Balkans, and has collaborated with musicians from Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia and Romania.

Brandon Lopez
New York-based composer and bassist working at the fringes of jazz, free improvisation, noise and new music. His music has been praised as “brutal” (Chicago Reader) and “relentless” (The New York Times).
From the New York Philharmonic’s David Geffen Hall to the DIY basements of Brooklyn, Lopez has worked beside many luminaries of jazz, classical, poetry, and experimental music, including Fred Moten, John Zorn, Okkyung Lee, Ingrid Laubrock, Tony Malaby, Tyshawn Sorey, Bill Nace, Chris Potter, Edwin Torres, Tom Rainey, Cecilia Lopez, Sun Ra Arkestra, Susan Alcorn, Mette Rasmussen, and many others.

Matthías Ingiberg Sigurðsson
Matthías Sigurðsson (Reykjavík) is a composer and performer of music ranging from contemporary classical to folk, electronic music and songs. As a composer, Matthías frequently collaborates with different theatre and film makers but he also performs his own and other’s instrumental and vocal compositions.
He is a member of Molino and Icelandic chamber orchestra Elja, as well as being a solo performer with clarinet, voice and electronics. Having deep roots in the classical music world on the one hand, and on the other his years studying live-electronic music and experimental composition, Matthías lends from this experience and further shapes his music guided by his deep fascination for a broad spectrum of genres. He always seeks to create natural yet unexpected blends between his influences.
